ANATEL has published Public Consultation No. 10/2026, which submits to the general public the proposal to establish Technical Requirements for the Conformity Assessment of Transmitters and Repeaters of the Second Generation of the Brazilian Terrestrial Digital Television System (TV3.0).

We emphasize that the deadline for submitting contributions is 70 (seventy) days, starting from today, February 25, 2026. The participation of all agents and stakeholders in the sector is essential for improving the proposed technical regulation, and comments should be submitted through the Participa Anatel system.

Simultaneously, due to the urgency of the matter, even with the public consultation underway, ANATEL announces the publication of Act No. 2705, of February 24, 2026, which approves the technical requirements, on a provisional supplementary basis, for the conformity assessment of transmitters and retransmitters of the second generation of the Brazilian Terrestrial Digital Television System (SBTVD-T) - TV 3.0. 

The provisional supplementary nature of this Act is linked to possible changes resulting from Public Consultation No. 10/2026. If there are future changes, products approved under the scope of Act 2705/2026 must adapt to meet the new requirements.

The Act will soon also be available for consultation in the Product Certification Acts section of the Anatel Legislation Portal.
